Parkview Regional Hospital Foundation board members presented a $150,000 check to Mexia Mayor Geary Smith at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. The money is a grant to fund a combination concession stand and new restrooms for the baseball/softball fields, and also new restrooms for the football/soccer fields at the new Hughes City Park Sports Complex.
The Congressional Justice for Warriors Caucus, which U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert chairs and U.S. Rep. Bill Flores is a member, released a statement Friday, part of which read:
