Mexia PD answers two more assault calls

For the third consecutive week, the Mexia Police Department responded to two assault calls, making an arrest in each case.

Saturday, June 13 9 a.m. – ADAR, a praisedance team at Fairfield Christian Center, is raising funds through a four-person golf scramble teeing off at Tri-County Golf Club at the Vineyards. Cost to play in the tournament is $50 per person and lunch is included. Auction items are also being sought. Adar is a Hebrew word meaning “fire.” The dance team has performed at special services at the church and on the town square during special events.
