An organization that finds volunteers to represent in court children who are in foster care has opened a satellite office at Mexia’s Navarro College South to serve Limestone and Freestone counties.
Limestone County Elections Administrator Jennifer Southard noticed some irregularities in a stack of applications for mail-in ballots that crossed her desk, and she alerted the Texas Secretary of State’s Office. The SOS advised Southard to deliver the stack she had received to the Limestone County Attorney’s Office, which she did.
Chris Davis comes from an Army family – his father, brother and sister were all in the Army – so it seemed natural to him to join up, too. That was September 1988.
Lt. Col. Allen West, Chairman of the Republi can Party of Texas, will speak in Limestone County on Thursday, Nov. 12.
