Limestone Medical Center is introducing its new 2021 RAM 3500 Reg Cab 4x2 diesel ambulance. The new diesel ambulance features many safety components that will ensure the safe transportation of LMC patients and employees. EMS Director Shelton Chapman says the ambulance meets all state-required and Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services standards including netting and harnesses, and anchoring of the monitor; and ensures that all equipment is secure. It also features a liquid suspension that enhances the quality of the ride. Hospital CEO Larry Price said, “We want to assure our citizens that should they need ambulance services, we will respond with qualified paramedics, EMTs and state-of-the-art equipment.”
