Robinson pulled away from an undermanned Mexia boys’ basketball team in the fourth quarter and cruised to a 73-47 victory in a District 18- 4A game at Robinson on Friday night.

Things went swimmingly for the Mexia Blackcats in the opening minute of their first District 18-4A basketball game at home against Waco LaVega on Tuesday.
In a battle for first place in District 18-4A, Waco LaVega scored nearly half its points in the second quarter and held on to defeat Mexia 41-32 at LaVega on Tuesday.
The Mexia boys’ soccer team was competitive against larger schools in its first two matches at the Temple Tournament last week.
