2020: COVID, cancellations, changes highlight first six months
There was sports news galore in the first two and a half months of 2020. And though sports activities were severely curtailed when schools were shut down in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were still a few sports stories that emerged during the shutdown. Here is a review of some of those stories:

Precious Daily’s last two basketball seasons have been derailed by injuries. This year she has shaken the injury bug and is one of the leaders on a Ladycat team that won seven of their first nine games and is ranked in the top-25 in the state Class 4A poll.
