Meet Nebraska! This handsome older gentleman was rescued from a hoarding situation in rural Navarro County. He is current on shots, fixed and Microchipped. This 8- or 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix is friendly and will shake paws with you. He is good with kids and other dogs. He may occasionally chase a cat, so may need a home where the cats are a little dog savvy. He is Heartworm positive and so will need to stay on monthly preventative. Many know the bluebonnet as the state flower of Texas. Their spread across the state was anything but unintentional. The 27th Texas Legislature adopted the flower, aka annual legume Lupinus subcarnosus, as one of its state signifiers.
