Workers with the Waco office of Heath Consulting, from left, Obie Thompson, Donnie Taylor and Maurice Robinson, look for possible gas leaks in the 100 block of South Canton in Mexia on Friday, April 3. They said a truck with sensors drives along the streets at night checking for the odor added to natural gas. Later workers with special sensors like the ones they are carrying check more closely. Atmos Energy contracted with Heath to do the job.
