Limestone County Emergency Management Director Matt Groveton reported at noon Wednesday, April 1, that Health Region 7 has reported the county’s first COVID-19 virus death that happened the previous day. A Mexia woman in her late 50s to early 60s passed away Tuesday, March 31.
