I was so disappointed last year when the little ice cream and sandwich shop at 103 Main St. closed. I enjoyed going there and eating lunch and treating myself to ice cream occasionally. I wondered what would happen to the old but nicely renovated building and shop with the beautiful original oak floors.
Glamour in the Glades, a retail business primarily for the sale of women’s and children’s apparel, celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday, Dec. 13, as it is now a member of the Mexia Chamber of Commerce.
