Representatives from area banks and the credit union, H-E-B and Mexia Independent School district stand with some of the 140 gingerbread house kits recently purchased for the district. Students will compete for the best-decorated gingerbread house as a class project. Parkview Regional Hospital now has a full time doctor of orthopedics and sports medicine: Dr. Mitchell Myers. He does general orthopedics, such as hip and knee replacement, some shoulder replacements, scope work with knees and shoulders, repairs to rotator cuffs and miniscus tears, and most fracture care.

We started the week off at Mexia LTC with Bible Study by Irma Carranza Monday morning. Residents celebrated Halloween with a spooky Halloween party on Monday afternoon.
