The Limestone Cancer Support Group will present Texas Cancerkickers Fashion Show at Mexia’s First Baptist Church’s Christ i a n Life Center at 5 p.m., March 9.
The City of Mexia Animal Control Shelter is waiving the adoption fee on dogs in its care through the end of January, and it is being assisted by Limestone Animal Rescue Adoption Shelter in the effort.
It’s not going to be a blizzard like the Texas Panhandle saw earlier in the week, but frigid weather is coming to Mexia in a couple of days.
Limestone County NAACP presents “MLK The Man” at noon Monday, Jan. 15 at St. John AME Church, 308 W. Milam in Mexia.
