The Mexia Area Chamber of Commerci is proud to recognize Mexia ISD as its Business of the Month. “Mexia ISD is doing great things in our schools and our community. The Mexia Blackcat Band particIpated in the Region 8 UIL Marching Competition on Oct. 18.
This week at Mexia LTC we started the week bowling on Monday morning. Residents played bingo that afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning.
More than 10 inches of rain fell in some areas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area over the weekend, but Mexia received only 1.53 inches, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as measured at Mexia Limestone County Airport.
