Teague scored 15 runs in the first inning and rolled to a 21-0 victory over Mexia in a District 20-3A contest at Ladycat Field onTuesday, March 12. The game was stopped after three innings due to the 15run mercy rule.
It took a few innings for Wortham’s offense to get going, but the Bulldogs erupted for 13 hits and 15 runs and pounded Coolidge, 15-5, in a District 14-2A game at Coolidge on Tuesday, March 12.
The Mexia baseball team slashed 14 hits and played flawless defense to steamroll Elkhart, 14-0, in a District 20-3A game at Blackcat Field on Thursday, March 14.
Age is no barrier when it comes to reeling in the big ones.
The Wortham baseball team defeated Mt. Calm, 11-0, in a game that was stopped in the top of the third inning Friday, March 8. It was the opening District 14-2A contest for both teams.
