With the Mexia football season finished, Coach Triston Abron and his staff are shifting gears to concentrate on beginning the process of building toward next year.
During a football season unlike any other, dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and all the changes that entailed, the Mexia Blackcats displayed perseverance and growth throughout the campaign.
Two Wortham volleyball players earned superlatives and two others were first-team selections in District 14-2A this year.
