Wortham volleyball coach DeAnna Whaley took to Facebook, as many coaches have, to announce end-of-year honors for her team.
She noted that all her players were true student-athletes.
De’Marcus Bullard was named the Most Valuable Player and the Defensive MVP for the Wortham boys’ basketball team this past season.
Skylar Phillips was named the Wortham girls basketball team’s Most Valuable Player for this past season.
Four Mexia boys soccer players and two Ladycat soccer players have been named to the all-regional team.
