The Limestone Leaders, a Limestone County-based 4-H Club centered on horseback riding, hosted a stock horse clinic and show last weekend at the fairgrounds. The training was performed by four horse clinicians, or experts, who worked with small groups of adults and youth to improve the skills both of the horses and their riders.
With a chance to get to the playoffs on the line, Mexia played like it was already in the postseason in its final regular-season game Tuesday night.
Mexia and Jasper warmed up and were prepared to do battle in a Class 4A bi-district playoff game at Ladycat Field on Thursday.
