Dorsey is promoted to head coach of Ladycat softball team

When Darius Dorsey returned home to Mexia to coach last year, one of his assignments was as an assistant softball coach. He was a quick study and, calling on his years of playing baseball, he did a good deal of the coaching and instruction.

Sand volleyball tourney changes format to 4s

Sand volleyball athletes are invited to play this fun sport and raise money for scholarships this coming Saturday, July 3, at Hughes City Park – part of Mexia’s Fourth of July on the Third.
