The Mexia volleyball team had trouble getting its offense going and was swept in three games by Ferris in a non-district match at the Mexia High School gym Tuesday.
The Wortham volleyball team swept Waco Parkview in three sets in a non-district match at the Wortham High School gym Tuesday.
The Buffalo Stampede Festival will be held in conjunction with the Pickett PRCA Rodeo on Sept. 17- 19 at the Leon County Expo Center south of Buffalo on U.S. Hwy 75. The PRCA Rodeo performances will be Friday and Saturday night, with $12 admission in advance or $10 from a Leon County 4-H or FFA member.
