The Wortham baseball team split two games earlier this week. They won on a no-hitter against Malakoff Cross Roads on Tuesday and lost to Bishop Reicher on a walk-off hit at the Rice Tournament on Thursday.
The Mexia baseball team erupted for 10 runs in the second inning and defeated Teague, 12-3, in a game that lasted three and a half innings in the Blackcat Classic at Blackcat Field on Thursday night.
