The Mexia girls basketball team made an appearance in the Class 3A state rankings this week and responded with a 47-23 victory over Ferris at the Mexia High School gym Tuesday, Nov. 22.

The Mexia boys basketball team erupted with an 18-1 run in the final four minutes of the first half and cruised to an 81-54 victory over Marlin at the Mexia High School gym Tuesday, Nov. 22.
