The playoff-bound Mexia Ladycats basketball team closed out the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 4, with a 48-29 win over the Buffalo Lady Bison on Senior Night. They wrap up the 2024-’25 regular season with a 9-3 district record.
The Wortham Bulldogs basketball team lost at home to Frost on Tuesday, Feb. 4, by a final score of 67-63. It was Wortham’s fifth straight district loss as their record drops to 3-8 in District 18-2A Division 3. The Bulldogs plan to wrap up the regular season at home against Hubbard on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
