Devoted husband and father and active member of his church community, Jason Cate lived a full life with family being at its core. Jason passed away peacefully at the age of 45 on Aug. 25, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor him and his memory.
Joe B. Cox, 82, of Corsicana, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at his residence. He was born Dec. 5, 1938, in Shreveport, La., to Christine and Leon B Cox. He attended Community Chapel Church.
Dale Ingham Rasbeary, 59, of Mexia, passed away on Aug. 29, 2021, at Providence Medical Center in Waco. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at Tehuacana Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Joseph Marion Connell, 100, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the pavilion at Antioch Cemetery in the Luna Community south of Teague. Brother Darrel Beggs will officiate.
Weita Ann Martin, 89, of Mexia, passed away on Aug. 29, 2021, at Providence Place Hospice in Waco. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Jones Funeral Services Chapel, with the Rev. Don Morton officiating. Interment will follow at Pt. Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
