Mexia resident Brandi Nicole Martinez, 45, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 17, 2021, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Funeral services were Oct. 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Mexia with Kip Stuver officiating. Interment followed at Point Enterprise Cemetery. Family visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Jones Funeral Services.
Mike Kirsch was born Sept. 9, 1942, in Houston to William Kirsch and Geraldine Morris. He was the second of three children. Mike graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1962. In 1966 he went on to serve our country as a Private First Class in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1970. Mike was a member of Dew United Methodist Church for nearly 15 years.
