KIRVIN — Funeral services for Rufus Raymond Hogan, 79, of Kirvin, were held today at 2 in Capps Memorial Chapel, Fairfield. Officiating were the Rev. Tom Young and the Rev. James Prince. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.

Sharon Lynne Woods Booth passed away Dec. 1, 2024, in Mexia, at the age of 79. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the First Baptist Church in Mexia with the Rev. Joe Reid officiating. Interment will be in the Royce City Cemetery, Royce City. Buzz Russel, Jim Watterson, Dave Campbell, Scott Batts, Anson Massy, and Curtis Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
John Thomas Posey
John Thomas Posey, 73, of Fairfield, passed away on Nov. 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith, dedication, and service. John was born in Oceanside, Calif., on July 2, 1951, to Liston Randolph Posey and Johnsie Jo Steele. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend and community leader.
