Rufus Hogan

KIRVIN — Funeral services for Rufus Raymond Hogan, 79, of Kirvin, were held today at 2 in Capps Memorial Chapel, Fairfield. Officiating were the Rev. Tom Young and the Rev. James Prince. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.

Mr. Hogan, a retired oil field mechanic, was bom on Feb. 29,1912, in Kirvin. He died Thursday in'a Temple hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Addie Hogan; three daughters, Martha Lane of Teague, Mary Arnold and Frances King, both of Baytown; three sons, Raymond Hogan and Richard Hogan, both of Kirvin, and Jack Hogan of Houston; a sister, Ann Clyde Kyle of Tyler; 11 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
