Thomas (T.G.) Temples Jr. passed from this earth on Aug. 26, 2022, in Round Rock. His life began on Feb.28, 1931, in the small town of Maple Springs.
Margaret June Green Ryman passed away peacefully on Wednesday Aug. 17, 2022 at CARE Nursing and Rehab in Early. She was napping in the company of her daughter, Donna Byrd, and slipped away with the Lord. Services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, at First Baptist Church of Hubbard with Reverend Ricky Woodall and Reverend David Burcham officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. Frances Margaret June Green was born at her parents’ home in the middle of a cotton field north of Floydada, on June 7, 1931. She was the youngest child and only daughter born to Frances Margaret Matthews Green and James Emanual Green. She had four older brothers, Jimmy Green, Victor Green, Clyde Green and Don Green. She grew up in the community of Center, where they attended church and a country school.
alame Sharon Diane Calame, 70 of Wortham, passed away Aug. 12, 2022, at her residence. Calame was born Oct. 10, 1951, in Corsicana, to Roy Alvis Calame Jr. and Hazel Dene Calame. She had been in the community her entire life and spent 23 years employed at the Mexia State School.
