Julia Madison Black, Jewels or “JuJu” to those closest to her, passed away tragically in a car accident on Sept. 11, 2022. Julia was born Jan. 6, 2003, in Houston, to James Alex Black Jr. and Shannon Jean (Bridges) Black. She was the middle child of four siblings. She looked forward to shopping with older brother, Jacob; loved dance lessons with sisters, Morgan and Meghan; and four-wheeling with youngest brother, Joshua. She loved being Aunt “JuJu” to her nephew, Bentley and spent hours playing cars and trains with him. Julia enjoyed spending time with her dad helping him install cabinets and watching Seinfeld. Jewels and her momma shared many afternoons in the kitchen baking cakes and cookies.

JoNell Hill Trumble

JoNell Hill Trumble, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away On Sept. 14, at the age of 87 in Austin. JoNell was born to Thomas and Gladys McNatt on July 2, 1935. She was one of three children raised in Mexia. She had two brothers, Thomas McNatt and Jack McNatt. She attended Mexia High School and North Texas State College. She married Larry Hill and had three children, Steve, Debbie and Joanna. Larry died in an accident in 1977. JoNell later married her dear love, Eugene Trumble in December 1986.

Charles David Howard passed away on Sept.15, 2022, at the age of 85. Charles was born Sept. 30, 1936, in Jewett to Freddie and Elizabeth (Taylor) Howard. He was a retired pipefitter. Charles is survived by his son, Andy Joe Howard and spouse Norma; granddaughter, Lacey Marie Howard; grandson, Brandon Joe Howard and spouse Amy; grandson, Jordon Bryce Howard and spouse Hannah; two great-grandsons, Braylon Joe Howard and John Patrick Howard; one surviving brother, Sidney Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terrie Annette (Barker) Dailey

Terrie Annette (Barker) Dailey, 56, of Austin, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 15, 2022. Terrie was born on April 2, 1966, to Ann Barker and was blessed with two fathers Johnny Barber and Louie Barker. She graduated as Class President from the Mexia High School, Class of 1984 and then from University of Texas at Austin’s Mc-Combs Business School.
