John James Stubbs, of Wortham, passed away Nov. 5, 2020, at the age of 86. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, at First Baptist Church in Wortham, with the Rev.
The Angelic Hosts came for Mrs. Ruby Burnim on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at her Grand Prairie residence among loving family and devoted friends. Viewing will be Thursday, Nov. 12, 1-6 p.m.

Karen Jane Hughes (Stoebner), age 74, formerly of Rendon, passed away Nov. 2, 2020, at Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Fort Worth.
Sudie Mary Winkler, of Point Enterprise, passed away Nov. 2, 2020, in Mexia, at the age of 88. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Interment will follow in the Point Enterprise Cemetery. Josh Winkler, Chris Winkler, Stephen King, Haskell Farris, Clayton Carlton and Johnny Ingram will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Burt Richards, Army PVT Nathan Winkler, James Dawley, Bob Crider, John Fryer and Sid Fryer.
