Thomas Paul Youngblood, 90, passed away on Jan. 4, 2021, while staying in Moody. Paul was born on Dec. 6, 1930, to Johnny Allen and Eliza Mae Youngblood, in Woodbury, Tenn.
Aletha “Hanna” West, of Groesbeck, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.
John Hugh Cross Sr., of Mexia, passed away Jan. 6, 2021, in Waco, at the age of 72. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the Prairie Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifton Jones officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the Old Rondo Cemetery in Texarkana, Ark.
Franklin D. Sloan was born on May 23, 1940, in Caygua, in Anderson County, to Ella Woods and Booker T.Sloan. He was one of 12 children.
Lawrence Anthony “Larry” Reynolds, of Mexia, died on Jan. 5, 2021. He was born May 17, 1950, in Michigan, but moved to Texas at a young age and always called himself a “Texas Boy.” He never met a stranger and especially loved family gatherings.
