Earl Floyd Morris, 98, of Hubbard, passed away Feb. 6, 2021, at a V.A. care facility in Temple. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with the Rev. David Ayers officiating. Interment with military honors followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Gary Earl Talbot, 78, passed away in his hometown of Mexia on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Sheffield officiating. Interment was in the Mexia Cemetery. John York, Wes Kuehn, Justin Talbot, Kevin Nabors, Paul Yeldell, Kyle Taff and Anthony Pruitt served as pallbearers.
Faye Nell Higgins, of Donie and formerly of Mexia, passed away Feb. 9, 2021, in Waco, at the age of 87. Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, at Donie Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert McDougal officiating. Interment followed in the Mexia Cemetery. Trent Turner, Roy DeFriend, Dave Chilcoat, Gary Franklin, Logan Arnold and Benji Taylor served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Don Turner, Ray Newsom, and the Deacons of Donie Baptist Church.
On Feb. 2, 2021, the Lord gained an extremely “Special Angel,” Mary Ann Dunkin. The family will have a private service.
