Melinda Henderson, 80, went to be with the Lord Feb. 21, 2025. She was born on April 7, 1944, in Mexia where she was preceded in death by her husband Jerald Henderson, her parents Laverne and O. Walter “Chief” Mansell, sister Sara Fife Elmore and brothers-in-law Billy Fife and Dennis Savage.
Crowell Ann Baggett, 89, passed away and entered her heavenly home Feb. 22, 2025. Born March 28, 1935, Ann was the youngest of three daughters born to Clarence and Jewell Clark.

Henry Edward Jackson, lifelong Texas rancher, unexpectedly went to his heavenly home with Christ our Lord early Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. He was 79 years young, born in Teague to Marian and Henry Jackson. His early years were spent farming with his grandfather, “Daddy Ben.” From an early age he was active in athletics and academics. Henry graduated from Mexia High School. He was football captain, basketball captain, all-district track, senior class reporter, sophomore class favorite, and vice president of the choir.
