This week at Mexia LTC we started the week off with hallway bowling on Monday morning. Residents played hallway bingo on Monday afternoon.

A sharp-eyed Mexia woman noticed a man she thought was trying to break into or steal her car last week, but she got a Mexia police officer involved and the man was arrested.
MSSLC requests pen pal letters to its quarantined residents

Residents of the Mexia State Supported Living Center have been quarantined since mid-March, not allowed to go into public nor even get visits from volunteers or family members.

James Allen Smith was only supposed to be at a Texas prison for a matter of months, sentenced to a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program after he pled guilty to a repeat DWI offense in January.
