LMC program helps Parkinson’s patients control symptoms

There is no cure for Parkinson’s disease, but doctors – and patients – have discovered that if they can control Parkinson’s symptoms, their lives can maintain a certain amount of normalcy. That’s where Limestone Medical Center’s Big and Loud program comes in. Two of those symptoms include the tendency for the Parkinson’s patient’s voice to drop in volume, and their steps to decrease in the size.
