When Mexia’s Adriana Contreras realized her son, Mexia High School senior Antonio Contreras, would miss his prom, since it was canceled because of the COVID-19 virus restrictions, she got an idea: What if she held a prom photo shoot for him so he would at least have the formal photos as mementos?
Mexia-area residents will have a chance to get tested for the COVID-19 virus at no charge on Wednesday, May 6, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 206 E. Main.
