Everyone always does spring cleaning, but winter cleaning is just as important. It’s time to put away all of the outdoor sports gear and get ready for the cold weather and plenty of time sitting inside cuddling by the fireplace.
Two Mexia police officers responded to a 911 call in the 700 block of Contour for a report of a man allegedly hitting his wife twice in the face. The call came in on Friday, Dec. 11, a few minutes before 7 p.m., and the wife said she was in the bathroom.
There are just two more chances to sign up for the Mexia Little Dribblers basketball program.
Four dozen Mexia High School students were honored with 2019-20 Academic Excellence Awards and received blankets for their achievements in the classroom.
