This week at Mexia LTC we started off with hallway bowling on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon.
Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield will hold a revival next week, and the local congregation is inviting everyone to attend the ‘Revive!’ services, which begin each night at 7 p.m. at the church, 220 East Main in Fairfield.

Texas is often thought of as a town with cowboys, a few wild streets, herds of cattle, and while it has been a town with national importance because of its ability to engage in the defense of our country. It has led the development of education such as Texas Christian University and others.
The Texas Workforce Commission and the 28 Texas Workforce Development Boards are teaming up with employers across the Lone Star State to host a statewide veterans’ hiring event on Thursday Nov. 5.
