PHILIPPIANS 4:6 – Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Education was highly valued in Bobby Dowell’s family as he grew up in Ennis. Perhaps that is why he values education so highly and has a job in which he encourages the youth he works with to graduate from high school and continue their training and education after that.
The Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce announced its annual awards Wednesday just before and during the Gibbs Memorial Library’s grand re-opening.
Finally the day came that Gibbs Memorial Library reopened since that fateful day a little over a year ago that an arsonist started a fire that destroyed much of the building. re-opening and ribbon-cutting took place Wednesday, Nov. 4, with about 60-80 attendees.
