MHS students earn blankets for their academic success
Four dozen Mexia High School students were honored with 2019-20 Academic Excellence Awards and received blankets for their achievements in the classroom.

Limestone County residents have even more to be thankful for this holiday season with the debut of the Mutual Assistance Group, a non-profit group dedicated to assisting first-responders, veterans and families in need. Their first big fundraiser, a toy drive, is currently underway, but you can expect to see community involvement from them yearround as they are committed to taking care of the many people who take care of us.
‘INSTANT CHRISTMAS CONCERT’
Mexia Junior High’s seventhand eighth-grade band students held the first of the district’s three Christmas concerts on Friday, Dec. 11, performing in the MJH gym.
