This week at Mexia LTC we started the week off reading about the “Good Ole Days” during our reading group on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon.
Benjamin “Ben” Havens, 18, of Boy Scout Troop 70, will be honored at a special Eagle Scout ceremony at 3 pm on Sunday, March 28, in Groesbeck. The Court of Honor will be held at Springfield Hall,199 Park Road 35, in Groesbeck. All Eagle Scouts are invited to attend.
Twice a year, people’s sleep patterns are disrupted when clocks either “spring forward” or “fall back.” Some appreciate that extra hour of daylight in the evenings, while others hate for schoolchildren to leave for school in the mornings while it’s still dark. And others just want things to stay the same.
