Will you accept His love and His gift of everlasting life today?
One day a little boy about 8 years old was visiting in his great-grandmother’s home when he saw an old painting of Jesus Christ hanging upon her wall. He didn’t know who it was and so he asked her. She, of course, told him who it was and then she said, “Now I want you to go up to the painting and read the words that were beneath the portrait. “Well,” she asked, “what does it say?” And he responded, it says, “Thou God seest me.” Then she said, “When you are older, people will tell you that God is always watching you to see when you are doing wrong, in order to punish you. But I don’t want you to think of it that way, I want you to think of it in another way. I want you to remember these words and to remember all of your life that God loves you so much, He can’t take His eyes off of you.”
