Mexia taxpayers could have a little relief on their taxes this coming fiscal year. City Council voted at its Aug. 3 budget meeting to lower the proposed tax rate from its current $0.8509 to $0.8409 per $100 assessed property valuation.
This week at Mexia LTC we started the week off playing ring toss on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon.
