The Mexia Garden Club is pleased to present the Civic Pride Award to Leo and Maricela Landeros, owners of The Countryside Cafe. They have been very successful in establishing a new business in the mist of a pandemic. A raised garden bed has been recently added to the front of the building with several plants and grasses added; and more are planned. An old wheelbarrow adds to the decor with several huge rocks to complete the site. Pictured are Leo Landeros and Patty Manley President of the Mexia Garden Club. Maricela Landeros was terribly busy so we were only able to get her picture inside the cafe.
