Tehuacana Bluebonnet Festival fun
Rae Sappington, Tehuacana Heritage Society member, drives a lawn mower in the Bluebonnet Festival parade April 9. People young and old enjoyed the day, wearing Native American costumes, strolling through the car show and listening to music.
Mexia LTC News
This week at Mexia LTC we started off with Bible study on Monday morning and bingo in the afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten Tuesday morning. Residents enjoyed singing presented by Chris Low with Amedisys Healthcare Tuesday afternoon. Residents will enjoy activities of choice on Wednesday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will stuff Easter eggs on Thursday morning and have an Easter party with Wings of Joy that afternoon.
MISD hires new head of Curriculum and Instruction
El Paso native Dimtri Garcia is moving to Mexia to join the Mexia Independent School District team as the district-wide assistant superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
