Mexia City Council approved allocating funds, heard the Mexia Economic Development Corporation executive director’s report and reappointed Richard Duncan as the city insurance agent of record during its April 19 regular meeting.

6 p.m. – Mexia High School will present a night of Fine Arts at Mexia High School – The Blackcat Band will perform in the Auditorium, the products of the Art students will be on display in the hallway and then the Theater department will present their One Act Play production, “The Yellow Boat.”
