Drilling for safety in Wortham

Wortham Police Department, Freestone County Sheriff’s Office, Freestone County Office of Emergency Management and fire departments from Wortham, Teague, Streetman and Fairfield recently worked with Wortham ISD staff and students on an active-shooter drill. According to a Facebook post: “It is sad that we (WISD) have to do such training, but we would rather be proactive than reactive.
