Early voting April 23-26 drew 150 voters for the Mexia Independent School District trustee election, 35 for the Coolidge mayor and city council races and 17 for the Tehuacana city council race and a property tax rollback proposition.
Mexia ISD bus driver Leo Dixon has watched many kids go from their first day of school to graduation in his 15 years behind the wheel, and sometimes they learned a lesson or two from him along the way.
