Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Marc Waller narrowly avoided a head-on collision recently when an alleged drunk driver came barreling toward Waller in the wrong lane.

A Mexia High School student, who is a minor, was taken into custody by police in relation to a threat against the high school Tuesday morning, according to Mexia ISD superintendent Dr. Lyle DuBus.
