The threat of COVID-19 looms over Coolidge’s next football game against Union Hill. The contest is tentatively scheduled for this Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Union Hill. But that could change.

In a volleyball match that featured many ups and downs for both teams, Abbott put together one final surge to defeat Mexia, 15-8, in the fifth game and clinch a victory at Mexia on Tuesday night.

Twice during its match against Dawson on Tuesday the Wortham volleyball team came from behind to tie the match. But in the end, the Lady Bulldogs fell four points short.
