The Mexia Ladycats basketball team traveled to Fairfield on Friday night, Jan. 3, and fell to the Lady Eagles 43-31. It was Mexia’s first district loss as they dropped to 4-1 in district play.
The Wortham Bulldogs basketball team took on Kerens at home on Friday, Jan. 3 and lost in a close one, 46-43.
