After watching his Ladycat basketball team knock off District 17-4A champion Palestine 63-60 in its bi-district game Saturday, Coach Carlos Daniels thinks his squad can make some more noise in the postseason playoffs.

The Mexia girls basketball team defeated Palestine, 63-60, in a Class 4A bi-district game in Crockett on Saturday.
The win vaults Mexia into an area round game this week.
